Keith has worked in software and systems development across many domains in the public and private sector since 1995. He's written software professionally in C, C++, Java, Python, Prolog, and Smalltalk. Since the early 2000s he been a pioneer of, first, eXtreme Programming and Agile and Lean development. He co-authored the first peer-reviewed description of successful distributed agile development, published in 2005.

An internationally recognised expert in Test Driven Development, he created the TDD as if You Meant It workshop, popular at conferences and in code dojos around the world.

While based in the English Peak District, Keith has delivered training and coaching at all levels to companies of all sizes throughout UK, the rest Europe, the USA and SE Asia.
